275 California drought maps show deep drought and recovery

After years of history drought levels and a steady recovery in 2017, Gov. Jerry Brown officially stated Friday that California's drought is over. For now at least.
Extreme to exceptional drought – the most severe levels – have lifted in the entire state since it first appeared on Jan. 28, 2014 , according to data from the U.S. Drought Monitor.
The Drought Monitor, which collects data from 50 different weather indicators, last showed a drought map that was clear in December 2011.
