Since my wife had her breasts lifted, her nipples are always hard. She's asked me, and I've mentioned about getting them pierced. I'm looking for feedback, do's and don't's. I've heard of people getting infected. Are the painful after time? I've heard people getting them caught on bras and shirts. Would you do it again? Sensation better? I don't need to see pics unless you want to share. Just feedback. I've posted a pic of my wife's chest, as you can tell, the nipples are always like that.

 

My biggest concern is a loss of sensitivity.

I will be getting mine done as soon as the quarantine crap is done. I’ve been putting it off out of fear but I made a promise to someone and now I have to keep my word.

 

I pierced my wife's nipples about a month ago. They have healed well and so far she hasn't complained about loss of sensitivity

 

I’ve had mine pierced for a few years. I would say the sensitivity changed, maybe not less, just different. That being said, I love them. I have to be careful when I change to not get anything caught on them, but it’s no big deal.

If she follows the aftercare instructions, she will be fine, but it will mean that you will have to leave them alone for a few weeks.

 

A couple users here have said they lost sensitivity from it, whenever the subject comes up.

I had mine pierced, and I lost enough sensitivity that I took them out.

I’m lucky, in that mine were super-sensitive to begin with, and since taking out the piercings I’ve gotten back about 70% of what I lost, so I’m still pretty sensitive and very much enjoy nipple play.

I do lament having lost that sensitivity, though, and honestly if I’d heard from other people that it was a risk, I probably wouldn’t have done it. I love the look of pretty nipple jewelry, but I love the way my nipples feel way more.

It’s a risk. It’s more of a risk than you think. I heard nothing about it before I had mine done, and after when I was talking about sensitivity loss I was hearing all about it; “Oh yeah, that happened to me, too” from quite a few people.

Nobody wants to advertise it, is all.

 

None so far. And she enjoys nipple play as well.

 

I had considered having mine done but after researching and watching several YouTube videos of real people and the real problems they encountered I decided against it. One of the videos was from a professional piercer who had been doing this for over 20 years. He said one of the biggest issues was that they take forever to heal (sometimes up to a year) and if you take the jewelry out they heal up very quickly (he said he had seen piercings close in as little as a few days)
I also consulted with local piercers to get their opinions and reached out to friends who had it done.
In the end I decided that the possible loss of sensitivity and the long healing time was not for me... I really enjoy nipple play and even the thought of having to go 3-4 weeks without wasn't going to work for me.

I did mine myself.. just take care of them like any other piercing and you'll be fine. The downside for women is sensitivity. Too much or none at all. But I don't know much about that. I don't know too many women with it done.

 

That would be a mood killer for me. I would just put my clothes back on and go home.
I don't think it would be very sexy to suck and lick on a piece of metal.

 

I think with all the comments on here we may likely opt out of it. Her nipples are still getting their sensitivity back from her breast lift, so to put her back in the predicament wouldn't be cool.

 

We were worried about the sensitivity issue after my wife's implants, but fortunately they probably ended up even more sensitive. She's got pretty big nipples that get nice and hard and since she normally goes braless I was encouraging her to get them pierced since it would look sexy. However, after reading these helpful comments, maybe not. For now maybe we will stay with the non-piercing jewelry, which still can be quite sexy.

 

That’s my fear but I’m pretty much committed now. Wish me luck.

 

Will probably opt out of nipple piercings. Can't do without nipple play.

 

My friend had hers done a little over two years ago and she likes them pierced. She worried about losing some sensitivity but she said they are fine. She did get a minor infection that worried her but it was treated and went away quickly. The only thing she misses is that she liked her nipples "rolled" by whoever is playing with her and some of her nip jewelry didn't really allow that to happen as easily.
